He reminds me a little of Christopher Plummer

Dear Natalia,

I have been reading your archives and I them fascinating. I am amazed that this blog does not have more readers who comment. It deserves to have a very large readership. It depresses me to hear of the anti-western feeling that still exists in Russia, e.g. blaming the US for the crisis in Georgia. Many years ago I read a book by Viktor Suvorov called Inside the Soviet Army. He was an opponent of the totalitarian system, so I thought he'd be a good person, but I was shocked by the extremism of his views, practically encouraging the West to launch a nuclear first strike against the Soviet Union. I then realised that both the Soviet regime and its opponents had a deeply illiberal mentality. I hope you can do something to change the political culture in your country because you seem to be a very humane person, but please stay safe.

Best wishes

Zaki

Thank you Zaki. I'd like wider readership, but not sure how it's done, so spread the word)
